An American-based Napoli fan has ruled out the chances of Napoli lifting the Scudetto this season after a run of poor results.

Napoli, who won the Serie A title last season after 33 years have only gathered 8 points from a possible 15.

This season, they have 2 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss. This performance currently places Napoli at 7th out of 20 teams in the Serie A Table, winning 40% of matches.

Reacting to their recent draw against Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, a doctor with the X handle @Almanfi_Cardio who appears to be a fan of the Italian champions wrote: "Napoli is not competing for Scudetto this year .. Forget it!"

Napoli's home form is average with the following results: 1 win, 0 draw, and 1 loss. And their away form is considered good, as a result of 1 win, 2 draws, and 0 losses.

Napoli has scored a total of 8 goals this season in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen made the headlines for the wrong reasons after a disappointing result against Bologna in Serie A.

The forward missed a crucial penalty in the 72nd minute of the game.

14 minutes later, the Nigerian was substituted off and replaced by Giovanni Simeone, leading to an angry reaction directed towards manager Rudi Garcia on his way to the bench.
