NPFL: Rangers must avoid slow start to 2020-21 campaign - Olawoyin

Enugu Rangers must ensure a good start to the upcoming 2020-21 NPLF season if they intend to win, attacker, Ibrahim Olawoyin has said.

Rangers are currently in camp for the pre-season ahead of the new season which is expected to commence later this month.

The Flying Antelopes last won the league title in 2016, but they’ll go into the next campaign as one of the favorites based on the Squad’s quality, Brila.net said.

Speaking on Rangers’ title credentials next season, Olawoyin said, “We are going to start the league on a very good note so as to achieve our target of celebrating with the trophy at the end of the season.

“It’s going to be a collective effort. By God’s grace we shall achieve,” he told Brila.net.

Meanwhile, Rangers overran Nation-Wide League 1 side, Udala F.C in an exhibition match.

Rangers demolished their opponents 4 – 0 inside the main bowl of Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Thursday.
