Kano Pillars coach, Ibrahim Musa has hailed the influence of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa after his assist led to the goal that ensured victory against Adamawa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday, May 16.

Musa spoke of his admiration for the wingers calmness even after his goal was disallowed for offside in the fixture.

While speaking to Brila.net, he highlighted his influence as big after surviving through the challenge of the opposition team who had more men on the former Leicester city winger on matchday.

“Ahmed Musa showed maturity in that game because he scored first goal but referee disallowed the goal, the linesman said it’s offside so we didn’t complain and continued the game.

First half ended goalless and second half Ahmed Musa collected the ball and gave the last pass to Rabiu Ali then we scored the only goal. He showed maturity because he picked out Rabiu Ali, most of the defenders were after Ahmed Musa so he tried.”
