Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has scored his maiden goal for Sivasspor in their Turkish Cup 2-1 victory against Arnavutkoy.

Musa who is in the twilight of his career made a rare start to the game played at the New Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium.

The forward doubled the lead before the half-hour mark after Hakan Arslan converted a 19th minute penalty kick to put Sivasspor ahead.

It was his second start of the season for Servet Cetin’s side.

The 31-year-old’s last goal was in February 2022 in his former club, Fatih Karagümrük’s 2-1 win against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Harun Ozcan halved the deficit for the visitors.
