'Most incredible transfer sagas ever' - Fabrizio Romano shocked as Moses Calciedo opts for Chelsea despite Liverpool agreement

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has described Moisés Caicedo's transfer as "one of the most incredible transfer sagas ever".

This comes after Caicedo who was meant to have a medical with Liverpool after the British-record transfer fee was agreed with Brighton opted to play for Chelsea who has been at the forefront of the transfer for the players.

Romano had earlier today announced that Jurgen Klopp had confirmed a deal had been agreed with Brighton and also the player's agent.

Klopp said: “I can confirm the deal is agreed with Brighton — with the player and agents, we will have to see”. “Medical today for Moisés? I can’t tell you, I don’t know — we will see. The club have really stretched it”.

Chelsea, who have been pursuing Caicedo all summer, haven't given up hope of bringing the Ecuador international to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea is expected to place another bid, Fabrizio Romano revealed.
