Moffi shines in Lorient's 2-2 draw against Monaco

Lorient striker Terem Moffi was on the scoresheet as his side played a two-all draw with Monaco at the Stade Yves Allainmat-Le Moustoir in the Ligue 1 on Wednesday, January 11.

Cameroon-born Swiss international Breel Embolo gave the away side the lead in the 61st minute before Dango Quattara equalized for the home side in minute 75.

In-form Super Eagles striker Moffi scored two minutes later as FC Lorient overturned the score.

Moffi and co were cruising to victory until Monaco pecked them back in the dying embers of the game through ex-Sevilla man Wissam Ben Yedder in the 93rd minute.

Moffi's 77th-minute strike moved him levelled on goals with Neymar (11), only Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe has scored more (13).

FC Lorient will play away to Olympic Marseille in their next Ligue 1 encounter on Saturday, January 14.
