Super Eagles striker, Mfon Udoh could be joining his former club, Akwa United with reports suggesting the striker has opened talks with the club with whom he currently trains.

Udoh is currently training with his hometown club and was involved in their friendly match over the weekend, Brila.net said.

The Forward left the NPFL side for greener pastures twelve months ago, when he signed for American side FC Tulsa.

His time at the club was marred by reoccurring injury and he was unable to impress the management of the club, before his stay was cut short, according to Brila.net.

Reports suggests that the former Enyimba international captain could become Akwa United player again soon as a deal is about to be agreed.

There are reports that the deal is 70% done and could be made official in the next few days.

Udoh hold the record of the most goals scored in a single season ( 23), during his time with Enyimba of Aba.
