Mbappe or Osimhen: Chelsea legend advises Real Madrid on which striker to sign

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola has advised Real Madrid to sign Victor Osimhen ahead of Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos are in search of a world-class centre forward to replace Karim Benzema who left the club to join Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League last summer.

Kylian Mbappe is the striker whose name has been on the club's radar for seasons now but Real Madrid has failed to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-German for the French striker.

According to Football Transfers, Gianfranco Zola believes Osimhen is a much better option for Carlo Ancelotti's side than Kylian Mbappe.

Zola believes Kylian Mbappe is more of a winger than a centre-forward and he believes the Super Eagles star will be a perfect fit for the 14-times European champions.

“I might choose Mbappe, given his talent and personality, he is the right fit, but he is more of a winger than a striker, so in my opinion Haaland or Osimhen would be better as they are classic centre forwards. Every coach has his own vision.”

Osimhen came off the bench in the second half for Napoli as Real Madrid beat the Italian champions 4-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the UEFA Champions League.
