Rival football fans have all come up with the same conclusion after Manchester City’s frustrating draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday, December 16.

Michael Olise scored a 95th-minuteth penalty as Roy Hodgson’s side came from two goals down to salvage a famous point at the Etihad.

City had initially taken the lead through Phil Foden and Rico Lewis.

However, Foden went from hero to villain for his side as he caught Jean-Philippe Mateta in the box in stoppage time, and Olise made no mistake from 12 yards.

According to BBC, the draw was City’s third successive one at home , and potentially leaves them in danger of falling further back in the title race.

Fans who watched the game reacted the same way on social media as they taunted City for apparently getting dealt a slice of “karma”.

In the 42nd minute, with City leading 1-0, Palace’s Mateta was through on goal but was maliciously tripped by the home side goalkeeper Ederson.

Many fans believed the Brazilian should have received his marching orders, but the referee only brandished a yellow card, and City added a second 10 minutes into the second half.

Here are some reactions from fans:

@SehnSecurities said: "Man City are losing it somehow."

@JovanRMFC added: "Manchester City are so finished,"

@DaleLFC08 added: "Mancity cheating and still losing points. Karma."

@Rebs121 added: "So Karma catches up with Man City love to see it though cheaters Ederson should have had a red."

@MikeB_702 joked: Arsenal fans celebrate after Man City's defeat at Aston Villa

"I am never not happy seeing City drop points especially when Ederson should have been sent off in the first place. Karma.
