Like Arsenal, Chelsea unveil Caicedo with popular afrobeats song

Chelsea Football Club unveiled their record signing Moises Caicedo with Pheelz and Buju’s hit-song Finesse.

This comes weeks after Arsenal unveiled their record signing Declan Rice from West Ham with Odumodublvck’s hit song “Declan Rice”.

Afrobeats has become one of the biggest music genres with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema performing in some of the biggest stages.

Earlier this year, Tems, Rema, and Burna boy performed at the NBA All-star games.

The “African Giant” crooner also went on to perform in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

The Ecuadorian joined the Blues for a British-record €100million+€10million(add-ons) after a controversial transfer mix involving Liverpool.

Following the completion of the deal, Chelsea announced Caicedo with a short video of him and his mum sitting in a car, and Buju’s song playing in the background.

Caicedo is expected to play a major role at Chelsea. The club is rebuilding with Mauricio Pochettino as coach, and once he settles in, he would partner Enzo Fernandez in midfield.
