Lesley Ugochukwu may not be seeing as much playing time as he hoped for at Chelsea, but off the field, he is making the most of his time.
The former Rennes star, who completed a summer transfer to the Blues, recently shared a photo on social media from his visit to Nigeria.
The 19-year-old, who has roots in the West African nation, posted a picture with his mother and siblings, captioning it 'Fam' [for family].
The France U21 midfielder, who has been nursing a hamstring injury since December 2023, is among the long list of eligible players being targeted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
While his allegiance to the Super Eagles remains uncertain, fans have applauded his acknowledgement of his heritage, a sentiment that resonates deeply within the football community.
