La Liga: Xavi tells out-of-favour striker to leave Barça

Barcelona boss, Xavi Hernandez wants Spanish youngster Ansu Fati to leave the club, according to reports.

The former Barcelona midfielder has told the 20-year-old that he has no future with the Spanish giants.

The 2010 World Cup winner will be informing other players about his plans for the future once the Catalans wrap up the league title.

Fati was heralded as the next replacement for Lionel Messi and was handed the iconic number 10 shirt after the Argentine left the club in 2021.

Despite beginning his senior career on a bright note under Ernesto Valverde, Ansu Fati has failed to live up to the hype after Messi's exit.

Reports emerging from Spain indicate that Xavi has given the green light for the young winger to be sold.

Fati's father has been critical of the club for not offering his son ample playing time after his return from his long-term injury.

The youngster, however, insists on staying at the club.
