Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar has hailed Valencia's victory over Osasuna in the Spanish La Liga.

Los Che recorded an impressive 1–0 victory over Osasuna at the Mestalla Stadium on Sunday, March 1.

Sadiq featured prominently, winning a penalty that was converted by Largie Ramazani for the only goal of the game.

Reacting after the match, the Nigerian international congratulated his side on the crucial victory and urged them to maintain the same momentum in subsequent matches.

“It’s important for us to win the three points today,” Sadiq told the club’s official website.

“We’ve been working hard this week to give the fans what they deserve, and now we finally have the three points and are already looking forward to the next match.”

Sadiq returned to Valencia from Real Sociedad in January, joining Carlos Corberán’s side on a permanent deal.
