Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman continued his remarkable form for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid after coming up trumps for the Madrid-based club.

The 28-year-old scored the only goal as Diego Simeone's side edged Girona 1-0 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday, May 17.

Lookman found the back of the net in the 21st minute following an assist from Antoine Griezmann.

It was the former African Footballer of the Year's fourth La Liga goal for the Rojiblancos.

Lookman has also netted nine goals across all competitions since joining Atletico Madrid from Atalanta in January.

He was later substituted by Clement Lenglet with 27 minutes left to play.
