The Super Eagles will resume their 2023 Nations Cup qualifiers campaign today March 24, when they lock horns with the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The game will be Nigeria's third match in the qualifying series after wins over Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

Jose Peseiro's side recorded a 2-1 win over Sierra Leone in their group opener before thrashing Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 in their next encounter.

The 2013 Nations Cup winners currently sit at the top of Group A with 6 points after 2 games following a 2-2 draw in the other group game between Sierra Leone and Sao Tome on Wednesday, March 22.

The Super Eagles will take on the Djurtus in the return fixture on Monday and a win in both encounters will seal Nigeria's ticket in the next AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The likes of Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Paul Onuachu have all returned to the squad ahead of the doubleheader.

The two sides last met in the group stages of the 2021 AFCON hosted by Cameroon with the Super Eagles emerging as victors with a 2-0 win courtesy of goals from Sadiq Umar and William Troost-Ekong.

The game Kicks off at 5:00 pm.
