Nigerians have aimed a dig at former NFF president Amaju Pinnick after he was spotted at Brazil's clash with Switzerland at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The immediate past NFF chief was spotted among football greats like George Oppong Weah, Luiz Nazario Delima Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Kaka, and Athletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone among others.

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the global showpiece after the three-time African champions were edged by Ghana in the playoffs.

Pinnick is a member of the FIFA Executive Committee and is at the World Cup as an official of the football governing body.

Incensed by their failure to qualify for the Mundial under Pinnick's administration, some unhappy fans of the Super Eagles slammed and laid the blame on the footstep of the 51-year-old.

Check out some interesting reactions below

_@PoojaMedia: Amaju Pinnick used Nigeria football to level up. Sitting beside legends. High-profile VVIP box. He gained more.

_@Emmanuel Adefisayo: The fact that Amaju Pinnick is comfortable watching the Brazil game makes me angrier the more????????????.... This man single handedly took Nigerian football backwards due to his high-handedness and ego. We (Super Eagles) should be playing in Qatar right now if not for Pinnick. Smhhh

_@Jedall Marcelo: Forget the Brazilian legends. Wtf is Amaju Pinnick doing there ? ????????

_@iPaul: Amaju Pinnick just spoil the picture that's supposed to be frame for future reference on the gathering of legends.

_@Doctor Jones: Amaju Pinnick the fraud in this pic. Shameless Man.

Brazil beat Switzerland by a lone goal to secure qualification to the knockout stage with one game to spare.

Casemiro's 83rd-minute strike gave Tite's side the maximum three points ahead of their final group game against Cameroon.
