Kanu made football easy for me at Arsenal - Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry has named Nwankwo Kanu as one of the players who made football easy for him during his time at Arsenal.

Speaking with Puma, Henry stated that he enjoyed a lot of freedom while playing alongside Kanu and Dennis Bergkamp.

Enjoying two spells at Arsenal with 228 goals in 376 appearances, Henry won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and two Community Shields.

“At Arsenal, I could go wherever I wanted. Like when you [Aguero] played with Diego Forlan. It was much easier for me at Arsenal because I had either Bergkamp or Kanu.

“They liked staying in the middle which allowed me to drop back, move on the right side, left side,” Henry said.
