Kalu set to return from injury

Nigerian winger, Samuel Kalu is getting ready to return to the pitch for his club side, Girondins de Bordeaux after his latest injury setback.

Kalu picked up an injury on international duty with Nigeria in October and missed four league games as he battled his way back to full fitness, according to Complete Sports.

Despite returning to the field in the away win against Stade Rennes last month, he suffered a relapse.

The 23-year-old has missed Bordeaux’s last two league games against Paris Saint Germain and Brest as a result of the latest setback, reports Complete Sports.

According to AIOFootball.com, the winger is getting close to full match fitness and can’t wait to help his club’s push for a place in Europe next season.
