Football clubs’ communication and social media activities have gotten hilarious over the years, such that even teams aim subtle digs at their players.

Juventus found a creative way to announce their defender’s contract renewal by throwing shade at two of the best Serie A attackers in the announcement by video.

Gleison Bremer extended his contract, which was due to expire in 2027, by another year till the summer of 2028, and the announcement video has got fans in stitches.

A video on the phone showed him dribbling AC Milan star Rafael Leao and tackling Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, indirectly claiming he pocketed two of the league’s best.

Per Football Italia, the Brazilian joined Juventus from city rivals Torino in the summer of 2022 after he was named Serie A defender of the year for 2021/22.

He has been an integral member of the squad since he arrived at the Allianz Stadium and has played every minute of the 17 games of the season so far, helping the team keep eight clean sheets, only bettered by league leaders Inter Milan.
