Joao Felix joins Chelsea on a loan deal

Athletico Madrid forward Joao Felix has joined Chelsea on a loan deal till the end of the season.

The 23-year-old completed his loan move to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, January 11 having extended his contract with the La Liga giants till 2027.

The young Portuguese striker expressed his excitement following the completion of his move.

“Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives – I’m very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge,” Felix Addo.

Under fire Chelsea boss Potter also believes Joao Felix's quality will be crucial to his side's attack.

“He’s a quality player. He can make a difference in the final third. He is young but has a lot of really good experience. He’s a quality player that brings everyone a lift.”
