Jackson not the answer; Chelsea need Osimhen - Agbonlahor

Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged Chelsea to sign Victor Osimhen.

The England striker has become the latest sports personality to recommend the Napoli talisman to the Blues with the likes of Didier Drogba and Mikel Obi all urging the 25-year-old to consider a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Super Eagles striker has been widely linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal as potential destinations.

Agbonlahor believes Anthony Jackson is not the solution to the Blues attacking woes therefore urging the club to sign the Super Eagles striker.

“Jackson’s not the answer! Oh wow, he’s not the answer! He must frustrate Chelsea fans watching. Like, you don’t know what you’re getting! At a big club you need to know what you’re getting.

“Chelsea desperately need a Victor Osimhen if they want to get out of the rut they have been in since Todd Boehly took over the club.”

Osimhen has netted 15 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.

Other reports have linked the former Lille striker with a move to Paris Saint-Germain as potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe who is set to join Real Madrid next season.
