Jack Grealish spotted taking on grueling drills after 72 hour drinking spree

Manchester City ace Jack Grealish might have failed to feature for England in the 4-0 win over Malta, but he certainly got a good workout on Friday.

The winger was an extremely busy figure on the sidelines, as Gareth Southgate opted against using him for the win in the Euro qualifier.

Grealish, 27, made headlines over the past week for his stupendous 72-hour partying spree after Manchester City won the treble, as his days were filled with nights out and loads of booze.

After the Malta game, a video, shared by MailSport, showed Grealish engaged in a running drill under the supervision of a coach.

This was much-needed for the winger, who watched the win against Malta from the bench without playing a single minute.

The drills in the scorching heat were presumably intended to keep his fitness levels up, especially following the heavy partying he was involved in.

After the game, Grealish was also mobbed by Stewards, who were eager to have photos with the Manchester City superstar and acquire his autograph.

Prior to the game, England boss Gareth Southgate had sounded a subtle warning to Grealish and his club teammates over their excessive partying, saying “there was a line’.

"I spoke to them when they arrived, firstly to say what an incredible achievement. We said we are heading into the unknown, there is no way of knowing individually how they are going to react and respond to what they've been through. Southgate said as quoted on Sky Sports.
