Super Eagles and Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi has charged Everton fans to support manager, Frank Lampard.

The former Chelsea boss has managed just 3 wins in 15 Premier League matches this season and currently sit one place above the relegation zone with 14 points.

The Toffees have also been eliminated from Carabao Cup in the fourth round after they were beaten 4-1 by Bournemouth.

Despite a poor run of results, the ex-Arsenal man believes the ex-Chelsea midfielder remains the best choice for the club and has urged the Toffees fans to throw their weight behind the 44-year-old.

"Of course, the club is very ambitious, and we want to achieve something. That's what we want to do - we owe it to them and to ourselves," the 26-year-old said.

"I say stick with him because, not just me, but the players do appreciate what he is doing and what he is doing for the club.

"He is a hard-working man, who is putting his job first - maybe before his family! He does work very hard and is an understanding man, so stick by him."

Even though Everton's performance has been abysmal this season, Iwobi has been the shining star at Goodison Park.

The Super Eagle has been the best player ever since Frank Lampard signed for Everton in January.
