'It was really brilliant' - Ndidi speaks on Leicester City's possible return to Premier League

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi couldn't hold back his excitement following his side's 2-1 win at West Brom on Sunday.

The Foxes were 2-1 victors over the Baggies at the Hawthorns with Harry Winks netting the winner in stoppage time.

Ndidi was on hand with an assist as he teed up Kiernan Dewberry-Hall for Leicester's opener.

Josh Maya grabbed the consolation goal for the home side.

The Foxes maintained their position at the top of the Championship league table and are likely to make a swift return to topflight football following their relegation last season.

“It was really brilliant,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.

“You could see how we acted on the bench and all the fans. It was really amazing because we actually needed it.

“We know it is very tight at the moment with the fact that the last game was not the best game, but we knew if we could get this, it’s really amazing because it gives us more steps ahead. It was really good.”

Leicester will host Plymouth Argyle at the King Power Stadium in their next game on Saturday, December 9.
