Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho got his campaign off to a blistering start after scoring for Bursaspor on his debut.

The Turkish second-tier side began their league campaign on a positive note after securing a 2-0 victory away at Bodrum FK on Sunday, August 9.

Iheanacho, who made a surprise move to the side this summer, scored the opener for the visitors and provided the assist for the second goal.

The former Celtic man was adjudged the Man of the Match after the game.

Iheanacho could not hide his excitement in his post-match reaction.

"I'm very happy," he told Bein Sports.

"Early matches are tough. I'm delighted we won. I'm also thrilled to have scored a goal and provided an assist."
