Interim Super Falcons coach Augustine Eguavoen has urged his side to build on their first-leg advantage against Comoros in the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers.

The Super Falcons secured a 2-0 victory over Comoros in the first leg of the qualifiers on Saturday, October 10.

Michelle Alozie and Uchenna Kanu scored the two goals to put the ten-time African champions in cruise control of the tie.

The Falcons are set to host the island nation at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne in the return leg later today, Tuesday, October 13.

Eguavoen has charged his team to target another victory and put the tie to bed.

“We are enjoying a two-goal advantage, but we will try as much as possible to see how we can wrap it up by winning tomorrow’s game. Maybe one, maybe two, maybe three,” Eguavoen told a press conference.

“I’m interested in goals, but the structure of the team is what I’m really interested in. The bottom line is to win, and we will try to do that.”

The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 pm local time.
