I’m inspired by Drogba’s physical approach to games – Osimhen reveals

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen says he mirrors his game after Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba.

The forward says Drogba has been a source of inspiration to him since his childhood.

He said in an interview with Il Matino that Drogba’s physical approach to games has always inspired him.

“The whole world knows that I am inspired by Didier Drogba,” he said, according to Il Matino.

“When I was a child, they introduced me to his [Drogba] style of football, the passionate fans, and then the whole community pushed me to follow him.

“And so, I started to take an interest in him, to watch many clips, and learn from his movements and integrate them into my way of playing.”

Osimhen, who has become a major transfer target for top clubs in Europe, has netted 13 goals in 21 appearances for Napoli this ongoing season.
