Former Manchester United youth coach, Jonathan Hill has expressed interest in the vacant Super Eagles coaching role.
Speaking in an interview, he said the job is one he fancies as he disclosed he has submitted his CV to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for consideration.
Hill recently left his role as assistant coach of Rotherham United.
“This is a role I very much fancy because of its demanding nature and the push to deliver top results,” Hill told Sports Boom.
“I’ve always known Nigerian players to be athletic, technical, and full of energy.
“There’s a great talent pool here, and I believe in nurturing young players who fit the team’s philosophy.”
In the absence of a substantive coach, Augustine Eguavoen has guided the team through to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
Reports suggest that the NFF is keen on appointing an expatriate to tinker with the team.
