With the Scudetto title in sight, Napoli Starman, Victor Osimhen has said he can't wait to celebrate the title with Napoli fans.

The runaway Serie A leaders are five wins away from clinching their first league title in over three decades.

The Luciano-Spalletti-led team is 16 points clear at the top of Serie A after 28 matches.

Nigerian striker, Osimhen has been the inspiration behind the Parthenopeans remarkable run this season after scoring 21 goals and 5 assists in 23 appearances.

The Super Eagles striker is also on the verge of becoming the first African player to win the Paolo Rossi Award as he currently tops the scorers' chart with 7 goals more than Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez in second position.

Napoli last won the Scudetto during the days of Diego Armando Maradona in the 1989/1990 season.

Speaking in anticipation of what will be a huge celebration in the city of Naples, the 24-year-old said

“We are all happy and giving our best to make our dream come true,” he told TG5.

“We are close to the objective and can’t wait for that dream to become reality. Naples is extraordinary, and so passionate. I have never received so much love and I can’t wait to celebrate the title with them in the stadium and in the streets.”

Osimhen was missing in action due to injury when the Serie A title holders, AC Milan walloped the league leaders 4-0 at their own backyard on Sunday, April 2.
