More details have emerged on the feud between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his former manager during his time at Barcelona, Pep Guardiola.

Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona from Inter Milan while the club's striker moved the other way. He spent the 2009-10 season working under Guardiola whom he had issues with.

“[Pep] preferred to make Messi happy - he didn't value me," the Swede famously wrote in his autobiography ‘I am Zlatan’.'

His former teammate at the club, Dmytro Chygrynskiy, who witnessed most of the bad blood between Zlatan and Guardiola opened up while speaking on a Youtube channel.

He started off by revealing how he became friends with Zlatan.

“[Once] I went in on Ibra tough, and after training, he said to me, ‘Bravo, Jesus, bravo’”, Chygrynskiy said.

He went on to reveal how Zlatan once described Guardiola.

“I remember Zlatan came to me and said, ‘Jesus, I had to leave that gay,’” Chygrynskiy said, switching to English.

Immediately after the 2010 UEFA Champions League semi-final which Guardiola's men lost to Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan, Zlatan approached him in the dressing yelling and saying “you haven’t got any balls,” also branding him a “spineless coward.”

He was later shipped out to AC Milan in the 2010-11 season on loan before he joined them permanently.
