Italian football agent, Andrea D’Amico has shed light on how Lionel Messi's situation at Paris Saint Germain could have a bearing on Victor Osimhen's next destination in the summer transfer window.

Messi, 35, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season is yet to agree to a new deal with the French champions.

As per reports, it is highly unlikely for the World Cup winner to extend his stay at Parc de Princes at the end of the current campaign.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner has received mega offers from Saudi Arabia and the MLS.

Al-Hilal are reported to have submitted an astonishing €4m as an annual salary to lure the Argentina captain to the Saudi Professional League.

Other reports indicate that a return to the Spotify Camp Nou could be on the cards for Lionel Messi despite Barcelona's sinking in financial debts.

Expressing his thoughts on Messi's situation at PSG, D’Amico explained that PSG will go all out to sign Victor Osimhen in the summer should Messi leave the French capital.

“Osi is the strongest striker in the world at the moment, even more than Haaland. These market considerations will be made after the end of the championship. Even PSG should not be underestimated in terms of Osimhen, also because they could have a heavy loss in attack. In my opinion, Messi is going hot, in Miami. This is just a feeling.”

Should PSG attempt a summer move for Osimhen in the absence of Messi, the Ligue 1 champions will face competition from Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea who have also expressed keen interest in the Super Eagles striker.
