Former Turkish referee and commentator, Ahmet Çakar, has claimed that Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen would be the top scorer in the Premier League if he plays in the English top-flight league.

Çakar, who believes Osimhen can play for any team in the world, stated this while speaking about the 27-year-old’s display against Barcelona in the Champions League in mid-week.

Speaking on the Libero TV YouTube channel, Çakar said, “Osimhen, you know, he could play for any team in the world, he’d be the top scorer in the Premier League.

“I didn’t see anything like that in this match [Galatasaray vs Barcelona]. I admit he has just recovered from injury, but what kind of performance did the team give him that he should play like that?”

Osimhen will hope to lead Galatasaray to victory when they face Gençlerbirliği in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday afternoon.
