He comes in, walks around and moans - Mikel Obi tackles Anthony Martial

Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi has call out Anthony Martial for his consistently poor performances for Manchester United.

The Frenchman was signed from Monaco for €60 million in 2015. He was one of the most promising youngsters in the world after an outstanding performance with Monaco where he won the Golden Boy Award at the time.

Former Chelsea star Mikel has been disappointed by Martial’s performances, as he believes that the Frenchman does not put in enough effort.

“Martial is one player who I never tend to understand what he does at a football club,” Mikel said on ObiOne Podcast.

“He comes in, he just walks around the pitch, he moans, he shakes his head, and you’re looking at him at and saying, ‘do something.’

“At least if you’re not playing well, kick somebody or start a fight(laughs). Do something or show that you care. Anthony Martial does absolutely nothing. Every time I see him on the pitch, I’m like f@@k me!

Manchester United were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday after losing to Bayern Munich. Martial did not feature in the fixture.

The 28-year-old striker has spent eight year at Old Trafford, but he has not impressed much. He hold a record of 90 goals and 55 assists in 317 appearances for the Red Devils.

Manchester United have been poor this season.
