Ghanaians clapback after popular Nigerian Facebook account troll Ghana's defeat to Brazil

Some Ghanaians have taken to social media to hit back at Nigerians for trolling the Black Stars following their abysmal performance against Brazil on Friday, September 23.

The five-time world champions gave the Black Stars a perfect reality check ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, France.

Two first-half goals from Spurs striker Richarlison and a thumping header from Marquinhos condemned Otto Addo's side to a 3-0 defeat in a World Cup friendly.

Some Super Eagles fans took to social media to troll the Black Stars for their poor showing against the Seleçãos

Nigerian Football Leagues, a pro-Nigerian sports social media handle wrote, ''The last time Nigerian played Brazil, Brazil came from behind to equalize Nigeria: Brazil 1-1 Nigeria. Brazil is not meant for everyone.''

This post elicited humorous responses from some Ghanaians who hit back at the Nigerian fan base with their qualification to Qatar ahead of the Super Eagles.

Some also trolled the Super Eagles over their failure to beat Algeria's B side in a test game on Friday.

Ghana edged out Nigeria at the double-header playoffs in March to secure qualification to Qatar 2022 ahead of the three-time African champions.

The Black Stars B side recently got the better of the Super Eagles B team as Ghana knocked out Nigeria to qualify for the African Nations Championships slated for Algeria next year.

The Nigeria-Ghana friendly rivalry has been inflamed following these two encounters.
