Manchester United players, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have lent their voice against racism in reaction to the death of George Floyd.

Floyd died while he was getting arrested by four cops of the Minnesota Police.

One of the officers had pinned his neck to the ground with a knee which made the Africa-American scream "I can't breathe" before he died.

In reaction, Pogba expressed sadness over the situation and similar instances which have seen blacks suffer racial abuse.

Pogba said: “I felt anger, pity, hatred, indignation, pain, sadness.

“Sadness for George and all black people who suffer racism every day.

“Whether in football, at work, at school, anywhere!

“This has to stop, once and for all. Not tomorrow or the next day, today!

“Violent racism can no longer be tolerated. I can’t tolerate. I won’t tolerate. We won’t tolerate.

“Racism is ignorance. Love is intelligence.”

Rashford said: “I’ve been trying to process what is going on in the world.

“At a time I’ve been asking people to come together, work together and be united, we appear more divided than ever.

“People are hurting and need answers. Black lives matter. Black culture matters. Black communities matter. We matter.”
