'Genius' — Oliseh hails Mbappe for masterclass performance against Poland

Former Super Eagles defender and coach Sunday Oliseh has lavished praise on PSG's Kylian Mbappe for his remarkable performance against Poland on Sunday, December 4.

Mbappe grabbed a brace as the world champions dispatched Robert Lewandoski-led Polish side 3-1 at the Al Thumama Stadium in the round of 16 at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 23-year-old old also set up Olivier Giroud for France's opener on the stroke of halftime.

Polish captain Robert Lewandowski got the consolation at the dying embers of the game from the spot.

Impressed by the outstanding display by the ex-Monaco man, Oliseh who was watching the game live at the Al Thumama Stadium took to his Twitter to hail the leading top scorer for the tournament.

"Mbappe! Mbappe!! Mbappe!!! Watching this Genius turn on the flame on Poland here in Qatar. He is simply absolute A class act!," the ex-Super Eagles fullback wrote.

Kylian Mbappe has so far scored 5 goals in 4 matches in Qatar, more than any other player.

France will take on England in the quarterfinals for a place in the last four.
