Gasperini reveals Lookman's strongest qualities

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has outlined technique and pace as top qualities Ademola Lookman possesses that will make every coach happy to have him in his squad.

The 25-year-old was on target again when Atalanta won 2-0 away at Empoli in the Italian Serie A on Sunday, October 30 to move back to the second position in the Serie league table.

The ex-Leicester City forward has so far scored 5 league goals and is currently Atalanta's top scorer in the Serie A.

He has also managed 3 assists in 12 Serie A outings for the Gasperini-led side.

Gasperini has been Impressed by the Super Eagle's contribution to the team since joining the club in the summer.

“Lookman has scored five goals and always gave a strong contribution to the team,” he told Sky Italia as per PUNCH Sports Extra.

“He has technique, pace and he is a player any coach would be happy with. We realised pretty quickly what he was capable of, he was convincing from the start.”

Atalanta will hope to maintain their impressive form when they welcome league leaders, Napoli at home on Saturday, November 5.
