Flamingos’ Comfort Folorunsho, is optimistic about their chances of qualifying for the semi-final of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

The Flamingos will be up against pre-tournament favorites, the United States of America for a place in the tournament’s last four later today.

The Americans are unbeaten after three group games, while the Flamingos tasted defeat against Germany, but recovered to beat New Zealand and Chile.

The United States also boasts of the best attack in the tournament, with thirteen goals from three games.

In a chat with NFFTV ahead of the game, Comfort Folorunsho says, she’s unmoved by the Americans’ scary records in the tournament.

“We are only thinking about winning, yes, they are a trying side, but we are not scared of them, we are confident of winning the game as well.” She concluded.

A win for the Flamingos will see them qualify for the semi-final of the tournament for the first time in their history.
