Football fans resorted to social media to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo's powerful goal for Al-Nassr in their 3-0 triumph over Al Akhdoud in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.

Sami Al-Najei opened the scoring for Luis Castro's team in the 13th minute, setting the tone for the match.

Despite Al Akhdoud's resilience, Ronaldo extended the lead to 2-0 with a precise shot from a tight angle on the right, and later added another goal with a spectacular long-range strike.

Ronaldo's 15th league goal of the season was particularly memorable. After the Akhdoud goalkeeper left his box to thwart an Al-Nassr attack, the 38-year-old skillfully chipped the ball from 40 yards into the unguarded net, earning wild cheers from the home crowd.

The 3-0 victory brought Ronaldo and his teammates within one point of Al-Hilal (34) after 14 matches, but the leaders have a game in hand.
