FIFA WWC: Super Falcons boss Randy Waldrum reacts after loss to England

Coach of the Super Falcon, Randy Waldrum has said he wants to remain coach of the team despite being eliminated by England from the round of 16 of the World Cup, reports soccernet.ng.

The Falcons raised the Nigeria flag throughout the tournament until the defeat to The Lioness.

They finished with five points in a World Cup group for the first time and could have topped their group if they had won their last group game against Ireland.

They also put up a solid performance against England in the round of 16. They matched the European champions toe-to-toe and could have won. Nigeria even had a one-woman advantage, but they failed to take their chances.
