Everton make decision on Iwobi's future

Premier League outfit Everton have decided to sell Nigerian international Alex Iwobi this summer.

Plans to extend the midfielder's contract at the tail end of last season didn't materialise as the club was battling relegation.

With just a year remaining on his contract, the Toffees have decided to cash in on the former Arsenal man if a suitable offer arrives at their table.

Iwobi played his best football under Frank Lampard since joining the club in 2019.

He was voted the club's best player by his teammates last season.

Iwobi managed 2 goals and 7 assists in 38 appearances for Everton last season.
