Captain of Enyimba FC, Austin Oladapo is confident his side will qualify for the semi-final of the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation Cup despite the setback against ES Setif.

The Aba Warriors face a herculean task to make it to the semi-finals after losing 3-0 in Algeria at the May 8 despite winning 2-1 in Aba weeks earlier.

Although the defeat was not enough to take Aba Elephants away from the second position on the log, they are condemned to pick a point in the next game against Ahli Benghazi in Libya to remain in the position.

Speaking to brila.net, Oladapo who was short of word after the collapse in Algeria said they have to pick themselves up quickly and keep believing.

The inspirational captain insisted that their ambition is to make it out of the group and he’s confident they will achieve their target.

“What happened in Algeria was just football, we gave our best, but it wasn’t enough to earn us the point we wanted,” he told brila.net.

“We are frustrated, but we have to keep believing in ourselves because the qualification is still in our hands, so we have to go to Libya and do the needful”

“It’s a difficult place to go and get a win, but everything is possible with the right motivation and mindset” he concluded.
