The Super Falcons failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the FIFA Womens World Cup in Australia and New Zealand after a defeat to England.

England will now face Colombia who defeated Jamaica in the FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, August 12.

The Super Falcons dominated the game and even came close as Ashleigh Plumptre hit the crossbar in the first half.
