Luton Town striker Elijah Adebayo has expressed his readiness to represent Nigeria at the international level.

Adebayo, 26, was born to Nigerian parents in Brent a borough northwest London.

He began his career with Fulham and spent nine years (2007-16) with their youth teams before gaining promotion to the senior team in 2016.

Adebayo started his career as a striker but was converted to a central defender by Fulham's U-16 coach before later switching back to his original position just before getting promoted to Fulham's first team.

The Fulham academy product is eligible to represent the Super Eagles, as well as England's Three Lions given his parental heritage.

Adebayo has netted 9 times in 23 appearances for Luton Town in the Premier League this season.

Speaking on his heritage, Adebayo noted that he is proud of his Nigerian heritage and will love to represent Super Eagles.
