Eberechi Eze emerges as Premier League best dribbler

Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze has emerged as the player with the most dribbles in the English Premier League this season.

The 24-year-old has completed a total of 33 dribbles this season, more than any other player in the English topflight.

Eze, who can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder has made 21 appearances for the Eagles this season.

According to a report by Sports Brief, citing WhoScored.com, the Super Eagles-eligible player has 546 completed passes in the Premier League, 38 shots and an expected goal rate of 2.90.

Eze was born to Nigerian parents in Greater London which makes him eligible to represent Nigeria at the international level.

Former NFF chief Amaju Pinnick met Eze in 2019 in an attempt to persuade him to switch his allegiance to Nigeria, but it turned out the youngster was undecided.

Eze has featured for England at the U-20 and U-21 levels.
