EPL: Pochettino unimpressed despite Chelsea's 3-2 win over Brighton

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has lashed out at the Chelsea players following their victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Blues beat Roberto de Zerbi's 3-2 side at Stamford Bridge in what was a fiercely contested game.

A brace from Enzo Fernandez and a goal from Colwill secured all three points for Pochettino's side who had their skipper Conor Gallagher sent off for two yellow card offenses in the first half.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the Argentine gaffer slammed his side for being flat toward the end of the first half which led to Brighton's goal in the 43rd minutes.

He also questioned the Gallagher's red card decision.

“The team was really good; I feel very proud because Newcastle was tough and then again, Brighton is always difficult to play and in the first 25 minutes we scored twice and were controlling the game,” Pochettino said.

“We were a little bit flat when we conceded at the end of the first half in the second half and then Gallagher was sent off. It wasn’t a red card, but that is my opinion; maybe I am wrong.”
