Manchester City proved José Mourinho right after wrapping up their Premier League campaign on Sunday, May 19.

Pep Guardiola's side dispatched the Hammers 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium to clinch their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Goals from Phil Foden and Rodri ensured that Mohammed Kudus' spectacular bicycle kick only counted as a consolation for David Moyes' side.

Manchester City's remarkable campaign affirmed José Mourinho's earlier season prediction about the Premier League title race.

During an episode of The Obi One Podcast with Mikel Obi earlier in the season, Mourinho gave Manchester City a 51 percent chance and Liverpool a 49 percent chance of winning the title, emphatically ruling out Arsenal's chances.

Although Arsenal beat Everton 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium, the result was not enough to secure Mikel Arteta's side the league title.

City finished the campaign with 91 points, with the Gunners settling for second spot with 89 points.
