EPL: Guardiola reveals why he will not watch Liverpool Vs Manchester United clash

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has stated that he will not watch the English Premier League clash between rivals Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Spaniard and former Barcelona manager revealed that Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side are way ahead for the result to matter.

Irrespective of the result, Guardiola appears to have given up hope with his side trailing Liverpool by 14 points on the EPL table.

While United travel to Anfield to try to steal a point, Guardiola's men will be battling it with Sheffield.

“They’ve won 21 of 22 games and they’d be leading all the leagues around the world.

“It would be nice to focus on Wilfried Zaha and Crystal Palace, and then Tuesday we have Sheffield United.

“Being so far away means it’s not interesting to look at what Liverpool do.

“It’s better to focus on what we can do for the rest of the season in the Premier League and other competitions,” Guardiola told reporters
