Cole Palmer has revealed the player he voted for to win Chelsea Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award.

Palmer, who has been a standout performer for Chelsea since joining the club from Manchester City last summer, scooped both the Men's Player of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year awards at Chelsea's award gala on Tuesday night.

The awards underscore his stellar campaign in his debut season with the Blues.

Despite initial doubts surrounding his hefty £42.5 million transfer fee from Manchester City, the attacking midfielder has silenced critics with consistently outstanding performances throughout the season.

When asked about his vote for the Players' Player of the Year Award, Palmer named Malo Gusto, highlighting the strong partnership they share on the right flank.

“I voted for Malo Gusto,” Palmer revealed. “I love playing with him on the right, and he’s been amazing this season whenever he’s played. That’s why I voted for him.”

Palmer has contributed 21 goals and 9 assists in 31 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season.
