Dessers injured as Cremonese draw goalless with Udinese

Nigerian international Cyriel Dessers sustained an injury in Cremonese's goalless draw against Udinese in the Italian Serie A on Sunday, October 30.

The 27-year-old who started the game up front alongside his fellow countryman David Okereke was withdrawn in the 24th minute due to a thigh injury.

The ex-Feyenoord striker has been a regular in the Cremonese starting line-up scoring 2 goals in his last 4 Serie A matches.

The Super Eagle's hope of atoning for his penalty miss against Sampdoria last week was cut short as he left the pitch in tears.

The club is yet to release an official statement on the extent of his injury.
